Wasn't it announced at this years elder's annual meeting that Elders CAN NO longer stop families from going to the authorities to report child abuse molesters?

Why the change this year?

Look in your disfellowshiped files & why don't you contact the authorities & rectify your ways by giving them the names of all the child molesters that are JW's or DF JW's?

Are you waiting for each VICTIM to file a lawsuit? That will cost the SOCIETY more money... THink about it.

By reading your declaration I can see that $$$ guides the society.

well we did it, 45 people were present for the first candle light vigil for silentlambs around the world.

holly and heather berry were there along with many other victims who told stories, sung songs, and recited poems that were self composed to help them deal with abuse issues.

there were many touching moments where you could feel the heartbreak and pain suffered by the expressions made.

I once believed like you do now. But my sister was raped by her father, my stepfather, a witness for many years. Would you like to talk to her? What about if your little sister had been raped by her/your father? Would you like the name of all of the elders in the committee? They are still alive and kicking.

My stepfather he only got disfellowshiped. He confessed to 5 elders. HELLO?

We were instructed NOT to go to the authorities by the elders. I have relatives that are witnesses & elders right now & they know about it. Why aren't they rectifying their wrong doing by turning the Names of the molestors to the authorities?

Why isn't the society turning over the names of all the child molesters in their files to the authorities? They have the opportunity to rectify their wrong doing. What is stopping them?

If their are over 24,000 child molesters times three elders per committee; their are thousands of ELDERS who followed the society's rules of NOT reporting to the authorities! Doesn't their conscience bug them? How can they sleep at night? How can they preach? How can they look at themselves in a mirror?

How can J.R. BROWN Lie??

Let's review Child Abuse FACTS & JW

first of all there are 1,000 of jw's who have molested children.. second: about 99% of them have not been reported to the authorities.. third: why?

First of all there are 1,000 of JW's who have molested children.

Fourth: IF thousands have been DF for child molesting why doesn't the SOCIETY turn over all the names of ALL the JW's who have molested children to the authorities? Thousand of them have been DF. WHy dont they correct their ways?

Sixth: WHy does Mario Moreno the PR for the WTS lie? I'ts a fact that we stopped by elders and were told not to go the authorities.

Seventh: BOth my brother, and uncle who are elders and know that their sister and niece was abused HAVE NOT gone to the authorities. Why are they holding back?

Eight: During the last elder meeting they both, my brother & uncle, told me & a local elder that the WTS NOW can'not stop families from going to the local authorities. NOW- What was in place BEFORE the latest ELDER meeting????

Nine: WHy do they care more of their image? Doesn't their conscience bug them? How can they preach door to door?

Ten: We were told that Jehovah would take care of it within time. I do believe that "God" is taking care of it. Imagine how God-Jehovah feels when thousands of children have been abused. HE's probably disgusted. I think he wants all these children to get help.

Eleven: Mario Moreno will need to continue making new lies to cover his original lie that we were not prevented from going to the authorities.

Twelve: Hasn't the WTS thought that Mario's lies will make all the elders & victims realize that He-WTS is Lieing? Elders and Families remember being told "Don't go to the authorities." Thousands will doubt the "truth" because of Mario's lies. Is he afraid of lawsuits? Why does money motivate his lies? Who cares about billions of dollars? Why not THINK of the children????

In addition, a local elder, and both my brother and uncle told me that at Elder School, the last most recent one, they were told that they, the elders, NOW, Can not stop families from notifying the authorties of Child molestation cases.

This is new info to all elders around the world. So this means some part of the 'regulations' were changed late last year or early this year.

If they had to be changed, what were the old regulations? Was it what was done to my family?

What the WTS preaches in the magazines is very different to what their 'actions' have been in child molestation cases. My family was a victim of the WTS in 1994. We were not allowed to contact the authorities. If it wouldn't have happened to my very own family, I would not believe it. We all know that lies originat with Satan then WHy is Mario Moreno lying about the WTS past actions. If my sister decides to press charges against the WTS, the congregation and her father, my stepfather, I hope that both my brother and my uncle, who are elders, continue to speak with ALL the truth when they get subpoened into court. Since they are so righteous they will have to testify that they we, "our family" was prohibited from going to the authorties. If they lie, I will have to remember that all 'lies' originate from satan.
If the society made "lots" of mistakes, the bible says that need to make corrections in their mistakes. They need to mend their mistakes. If Mario Moreno keeps lyeing, he's going to have to tell more lies to cover the ones he's already said.
I never thought the WTS would come out and LIE. It is just awful!
What do you do when ALL that you onced believed in IS shattered right in front of your eyes? What do you do when your little sister wakes up crying and screaming from the nightmares when her father, a witness, raped her? How can the society live with all of these burdens? THe elder told us, "You can't go to the authorities; Jehovah will take care of it within time". Jehovah is taking care of it right now. Imagine Jehovah's sadness because of all the harm that was done to thousands of children. Imagine his disgust at the WTS for not protecting innocent children by complying with state laws and reporting abusers to the authorities.

THe fact is that thousands of child molesters, that at one time were or are witnesses were not turned over to the authorities. Many of these people were disfellowshiped but that IS not enough. Aren't we told that we need to abide Caesars laws?

I understand your mom. If my family didn't have first hand experience I wouldn't believe it either. It happened in our family in 94. My little sister was raped by her father, my stepfather. He was disfellowshiped. We were not allowed to go to the authorities because we would bring reproach against Jehovah and his earthly organization. We were told that Jehovah would take care of it with in time. I wish we would have know about CNN before. I'm positive that my sister will talk.

I am not DF but I now have serious doubts about JW's. I'm devastated, shattered & very upset

Knowing the organization anyone who speaks with the truth will be disfellowshiped. They do not want any bad publicity against them or dirtying Jehovahs, or the organization. I have first account experience with them. My little sis was abused by her father and he was only disfellowshiped. We were told we could not go to the authorities because this would bring reproach on Jehovah. Now I wonder how many more children have fallen victim of abuse/molestation and rape by my stepfather. I heard there are new allegations against him where he lives that he molested a 13 year old girl. I hope that he goes to prison for all his wickedness. The elder that headed the committee in 1994 was also disfellowshiped for abusing his oldest daughter two years ago in 2000.

Violating criminal laws by failing to report.

if i am not mistaking, i have seen on silentlambs that there are about 23,000 known child molesters on file with the watchtower society.

for every known case there has to be a responsible elder, if not being responsible for muliple cases, who reported the molester to the headquarters.

keep in mind that 23,000 are only known cases with the headquarters!

It is true the elders prohibited us from going to the authorities when my little sister was abuse, molested & raped by her father. He only got disfellowshiped. Now there are police investigations that he molested a 13 year old where he is now residing. How many children have fallen victim to him? I know at least 3. Now think of the 23,00 molesters & multiply it by the number of victims. I hope that my sister has the courage to speak out.
